Teams of 2 to 4 students will create a high-quality, well-designed digital animation to be shared on a web-based platform. All types of animation styles and mediums are acceptable, such as 2D, 3D, stop-motion and more. Electricity and internet will not be provided.
Entry must be completed prior to convention.
Each club may register one team for this exhibition. Exhibition is limited to the first 100 clubs that register for National Convention. Register early in order to ensure your club's participation.
Elementary Betas are eligible to compete in Elementary competitions only.
Junior Betas are eligible to compete in Junior competitions only.
Senior Betas are eligible to compete in Senior competitions only.
Topics - Students can select one of the following categories to serve as the topic of the animation/stop motion film:
- Fascinating Facts of National Beta
- Wired for Success – A Spotlight on Beta Alumni
- Sights to See in Nashville
- The Magic, The Myth, The Legend – Dolly Parton
Competition Guidelines
1. Film Length - Entrants may submit an animated/stop motion film of no shorter than 15 seconds and no longer than 25 seconds.
2. Teams of 2 to 4 students will create a high-quality, well- designed digital animation to be shared on a web based platform.
3. Teams must provide their own computer or device.
4. One minute will be allotted for the viewing of the digital animation followed by a one minute Q & A.
5. Teams will not be allowed to use the internet during the exhibition’s presentation. If an internet connection is needed, please bring a hotspot.
6. Electricity will not be provided.
