Reimagine, Recreate, Recycle

 

Reimagine Recreate Recycle is a National Exhibition that provides a team of 3 to 5 students the opportunity to create something of choice that is iconic to Tennessee using only recyclable materials.  

Design must be completed prior to convention.

An onsite challenge will be given during the exhibition.


Each club may register one team for this exhibition. Exhibition is limited to 100 entries. Register early in order to ensure your club's participation.

Elementary Betas are eligible to compete in Elementary competitions only.

Junior Betas are eligible to compete in Junior competitions only.

Senior Betas are eligible to compete in Senior competitions only.


Competition Guidelines
1. Teams of 3 to 5 students will create an item of choice that is iconic to Tennessee using only recyclable materials. Designs should display creativity, innovation, originality, and quality craftsmanship.
2. Designs must be completed prior to the convention.
3. An onsite challenge will be given during the exhibition to enhance the original design.
4. Additional recyclable materials such as card stock, construction paper, tape, markers, sheet of aluminum foil, foam, etc., will be needed to complete the onsite challenge.
5. Designs will be displayed and judged during the exhibition.
6. Liquids of any kind may not be used.
7. Electricity/outlets and internet will not be provided.


Judging Criteria
Design Interpretation and Illustration - 20 pts.
Design Concepts: Creativity, Color and Contrast - 20 pts.
Originality of Project - 20 pts.
Craftsmanship - 20 pts.
Implementation of Challenge - 20 pts.
