Meeting of the Minds

Meeting of the Minds is a National Exhibition that provides a team of 4 the opportunity to work collaboratively to engage in higher level cognitive abilities such as abstract reasoning, and problem solving.

Students will be provided with the materials onsite that are needed to complete the exhibition.

Elementary Betas are eligible to compete in Elementary competitions only.

Junior Betas are eligible to compete in Junior competitions only.

Senior Betas are eligible to compete in Senior competitions only.



Each club may register one team for this exhibition. Exhibition is limited to the first 100 clubs that register for National Convention. Register early in order to ensure your club's participation.


Competition Guidelines

1. A prompt and rules for the exhibition will be provided onsite to each team.

2. Students will use only the materials that are provided for the build and challenge.

3. Liquids of any kind may not be used.

4. Electricity/outlets and internet will not be provided.

5. Designs will be displayed and judged during the exhibition.





Judging Criteria

Creativity - 20 pts.
Teamwork -20 pts.
Design of Plan - 20 pts.
Originality of Project - 20 pts.
Overall Impression - 20 pts.
