Beta Blitz

Branding Your Convention Season!      

Attention all creative minds! Are you ready to showcase your artistic talent. We’re thrilled to announce Beta Blitz, a challenge where YOU get the chance to design t-shirt designs, trading pins, and other merchandise that incorporates the convention theme.


What’s the Challenge?                

Everything will be completed prior to the summit. A team of 3–5 members will design a one-of-a-kind entry to earn your club’s way to a national challenge.  The team will have 2 minutes to present using a presentation board, poster/posters, markers, ink,pencils, laptops, iPads, Chromebook, etc., followed by a question-and-answer segment.  This is the chance for your club to show us your creativity. 


Presentation Time:  2 Minutes

Number of Participants:  3-5 

Materials: Presentation board, poster/posters, markers, ink,pencils, laptops, iPads, Chromebook, etc.

No Power: No electrical outlets, internet or projector will be provided.


Why Participate?

  • Showcase your creativity and artistic abilities.
  • Gain experience in marketing and presentation skills.


Challenge Guidelines

  1. Gather Your Supplies:  Each team will need to use a presentation board, poster board, paper, markers, pencils, and/or ink to bring your creative vision to life. This is your chance to showcase your design skills and capture the spirit of the convention!
  2.  Design Your Brand: The goal is to create a t-shirt design, trading pin, or convention branding that reflects the excitement, energy, and essence of the event. Make sure your design is bold, eye-catching, and ready to be seen. 
  3. Present to Leadership:  After creating your designs, bring them to the leadership summit to present your ideas. Be ready to explain your concept, why it fits the theme, and how it will resonate with convention attendees.  Participants will have 2 minutes to present with follow up questions.
  4. Scoring:  The highest-scoring entries will be invited to compete at Nationals.
  5. Water, paint, liquids or other materials that can create a mess are not allowed.
  6. SAFETY - Balloons, confetti, hay, fog machines, live animals, fire/open flames are not permitted in the facility
  7. SAFETY - Metal or wood may not be used in the presentation.Video Studio Background Stands and Pop-up Portable Canopy tents are prohibited.


Elementary Betas are eligible to compete in Elementary competitions only.


Junior Betas are eligible to compete in Junior competitions only.


Senior Betas are eligible to compete in Senior competitions only.



If a club qualifies with a submission for Beta Blitz at a Leadership Summit, the entry cannot be used for competitions at the state convention. 


A new submission must be produced for all qualifiers of Beta Blitz to be entered at the National Convention.
