Onsite Competition
The Apparel Design competition allows each club to submit one club-designed piece of apparel depicting the 2026 - 2027 Theme - Legends in the Making. This competition is designed to encourage creativity, innovation, interpretation of theme, and artistic design. A club may only have one entry.
Beginning 2026-2027 convention season there will be no viewing for this competition. This change was made to improve safety and protect projects.
Elementary Betas are eligible to compete in Elementary competitions only.
Junior Betas are eligible to compete in Junior competitions only.
Senior Betas are eligible to compete in Senior competitions only.
A club/school may not submit the same entry for competition in different divisions (EL, JR, SR).
Photo books, posters, albums, displays, etc. detailing the creation of the entry are prohibited.
Competition Guidelines
- The apparel must adhere to the 2026-2027 Convention Theme - Legends in the Making.
- Each club must submit one finished piece for the Apparel Design competition.
- The project will remain on display until the designated pick-up time.
- Entries may be any form of apparel but may not be an accessory (i.e., shoes, handbags, ties, hats, belts, headbands, etc.)
- The apparel must be student designed.
- A completed Entry Design Form should be attached to the project.
- No display stands or mannequins.
- Although reasonable precautions to protect entries will be taken, National Beta will not be responsible for loss or damage.
- It is the responsibility of clubs entering the competition to collect entered items at the designated time listed in the schedule.

- Register students and then select competitions to enter.
