Welcome to the National Beta Scavenger Hunt!
Ready to explore, get creative, and have some fun with your fellow Betas? Grab your team and get ready for the National Beta Scavenger Hunt!
Scavenger hunts will take place from 9:00AM - 5:00PM in the local time zone of your State Convention.
How to Play
- Find your Scavenger Hunt
Find your State Convention in the chart below (coming soon) and click the game link to join the scavenger hunt. - Sign in or play as a guest.
You can play as a guest or create a personal account using an email, username, and password of your choice. - Build your team.
Teams should have 6–8 members, with the oldest Beta serving as the team leader.
The team leader should join first and create the team's name.
Team Leaders: To find your team access code, tap the tab furthest to the right in the app. Then select the Settings gear icon in the upper-right corner. Your access code will appear directly below your team's name.
Teammates: Use the access code provided by your team leader to join your team. - Start completing missions!
Once you're in the game, you'll see a list of missions for your team to tackle. Missions may ask for a photo or video, text response, or GPS check-in. - Pay attention to the details.
Make sure you complete each mission exactly as described!
Once the scavenger hunt is complete, all entries will be reviewed to make sure they meet the mission requirements. Points may be deducted for submissions that don't accurately complete the mission, so read each one carefully before submitting! - Keep an eye on the leaderboard.
Use the navigation tabs in the app to check the activity feed and leaderboard, see notifications from the game organizer, and review or resubmit your previous entries. - Most importantly — have fun!
Get creative, work together, and use the scavenger hunt as a chance to interact with Betas from other schools!
Keep It Beta-Appropriate
Remember that you're representing National Beta while you play. Inappropriate team names, answers, photos, or videos will not be tolerated. Any violation of this policy may result in your team being removed from the scavenger hunt.
Prizes
The top three teams each day will earn Scavenger Hunt Champ trading pins!
Each winning team will receive 8 pins total. Teams should consist of 6–8 participants, so if your group is larger, please split into multiple teams. Additional pins will not be provided.
If your team wins, listen for an announcement with instructions on when to pick up your prize pins at the side stage.
